Philip D. Tobolsky graduated Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, NY in 1988, and earned his B.A in Psychology from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ in 1985. After enjoying time with a dynamic boutique law firm in the Wall Street district of Lower Manhattan, Mr. Tobolsky quickly developed an ambition to carve his own niche as an Attorney in the private sector. In 1991, the Law Office of Philip D. Tobolsky was borne out of a one bedroom apartment in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. Mr. Tobolsky's law office has since grown, and maintained a continuous presence in Monmouth County, New Jersey as a general practice law office, with concentration in Condominium Law, Homeowners Associations, Real Estate, Commercial Litigation and Wills. With his wife and two sons, Mr. Tobolsky defines himself not as a lawyer, but as a family man who practices law.
At his current law office in the Ramtown section of Howell, you will not find anything extraordinary. There is no electronic gadgetry on the photocopier that is wired to clients' accounts for billing purposes, postage and fax are routinely absent from monthly invoices, and clients are at ease with the knowledge that they will not be charged for direct telephone calls with Mr. Tobolsky. It has always been Mr. Tobolsky's philosophy that getting all relevant information from the client is paramount, and it is virtually impossible to gather all necessary information if the client has to worry that the “clock is ticking” on the other end.
So at 68 Ramtown-Greenville Road, Howell, NJ, expect the unexpected, in a warm, old fashioned kind of way. There, you will find a casually dressed lawyer with a genuine care for the client's well-being.
